How do ex-JW's actually choose another religion?
by buffy inok, here's my question.
how do you go from being a jw to being a whatever (methodist, lutheran, etc.
) i've been invited to go to many churches with friends, but, i have no desire to ever set foot in any church.

Yes, there indeed are "Jehovah's Witnesses" who however do not follow the pro-pedophile, UN-compromised Watchtower Governing Body! Follow Jehovah's Christ, not Ted Jarasc and "the boys" at Watchtower!

put piece of paper/posterboard in back driver's side of car/truck with same on it
put "silentlambs.org" on envelopes in which you may in your water/utilities bills, etc
phone a kingdom hall and give the website address to whoever answers

They didn't send it out everywhere because of shame that Leo Greenlees, a member of the Governing Body at the time, was a child molestor. They should have disfellowshipped him if anybody but instead just quietly moved him off to eventually die in Louisiana. Cowards will not inherit the kingdom.
